With his painting studio perched on the edge of the Seine, and his home on a barge, the Artist is living Suze's dream.
From Fort Worth TX, this expat moved to San Francisco in the 70s to become a hippie. Too late by a decade, he continued on to Paris and has been painting here ever since. A few shows in small cafés have not brought the fame he hoped for, but he is proud that one of his paintings hangs in a huge home in the Poconos, thanks to a wealthy tourist who stopped by one sunny day when he had his art out on the riverbank.
He still speaks only fractured French, and if you listen carefully, underneath you can hear the remnants of his Texas twang.
